Join us in celebrating Earth Day at Upcycle! Richmond - a city-wide maker festival showcasing the use of recycled materials in the creative process and "green" technologies like cycle-powered machines!
Guests will explore and experiment with mixed media sculpture using recycled and salvaged materials, learn about bicycle repair and cycling as a healthy transportation alternative and enjoy educational workshops addressing recycling resources.

Richmond Art Center activities will include hammering and shaping copper leaves; creating mosaic trash bins; screen-printing t-shirts; building musical instruments; designing marionette puppets, paper hat sculptures and more!
