How many exhibition works:
A Digital Fantasy, an international online solo digital arts exhibition by Denis Barry, opens on August 01 and will continue through August 31, 2022.
Denis Barry is a self-taught artist. His work has grown out of his joy for geometric shapes, and his education in drafting and mechanical engineering designs. This exhibition focuses on his digital fractal generated image, although he enjoys painting on paper and canvas, and developing some wood construct sculptures too.

My education is in drafting, mathematics, education, and mechanical engineering. In the early 80’s I began doing illustrations and isometric drawings for books on weaving, and at my work for a chemical company.
Building constructs and painting became a way of decorating our home.
When an owner of an art gallery saw my work, she asked me to bring some to her gallery. I became a resident artist for the gallery in the late 80’s for 14 years. Since then, I have sold numerous paintings, construct sculptures, plus end tables and coffee tables that I have built and painted.
Now, at 74, I continue as resident artist with Rue Colline gallery in Georgia, Fine Art Studio Online, and ArtNuances in London, England. I will have some of my works shown at Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy July 8 thru 17, and will have an online Artistonish exhibition the month of August.
