Embodiment, an international online solo sculpture exhibition by Emma Thompson, opens on December 10, 2024, and will continue for two months until February 10, 2025.
Embodiment by Emma Thompson explores the intricate dialogue between the human form and the natural world, emphasizing the shared patterns and textures of existence. In this evocative exhibition, Thompson’s multimedia works—rooted in clay but extending to drawing and painting—reflect a profound investigation of femininity and the interconnectedness of body and earth. Her ceramic sculptures and organic forms fragment, reassemble, and morph, inviting viewers to ponder themes of identity, space, and transformation.
Through symbolic elements like goddesses, bowls, and abstract organic shapes, Thompson reclaims the female body as a site of beauty, strength, and healing. Her pieces, often textured and grounded in earthy tones, evoke timelessness, as if drawn from ancient rituals or unearthed memories. This collection is not just a celebration of form but a meditative journey, offering space for reflection on how bodies—human and earth—are intertwined in a shared narrative of resilience and renewal.
