Celebrating New Mexico, an international online solo painting exhibition by Bobby Jones opens on December 01 and will continue through December 31, 2021.
Bobby's works are about Celebration. As he wrote in his statement, "Each mixed media painting, celebrates color, design, and meaning upon the canvas' surface". His artwork honors New Mexico from Roadrunners, the state bird of New Mexico, to The St. Francis of Assisi Church, The Taos Santuario, in Taos, New Mexico. His paintings also recognize the amazing landscapes of this enchanted land.
Through his art, he also celebrates butterflies and hearts to honor the memory of his mother Kate Brown Jones, who honored these images by displaying them throughout her kitchen of the artist childhood home in Ft. Worth, Texas.
