World in Flux, an international online painting solo exhibition by Terry Longtin opens on August 01 and will continue through August 31, 2021.
An abstract artist and an earth advocate, wrote in his statement: "I know the earth is heating up and we are losing our precious glaciers, fires burn out of control, the air quality and our ozone layer depleted. I decided a few years ago to paint pictures of our beautiful world. I paint mostly water scenes because life began in water and it is our most valuable commodity."

I am a 62 year old guy. I live in Detroit, Michigan. I love to paint pictures of our beautiful lakes and oceans and bring attention to the tragic loss of our glaciers, our polluted seas, our depleted ozone layer, our terrible air quality. I want people to know that it's not too late to turn things around but it's going to take everyone on our planet to do their part. If I can bring attention to our planet through my art I will keep painting our melting glaciers, oceans heating and all of our seas as a reminder to do your part. It's never too late to change.
