The art project “PASSAGE” uses the temporary vacancy in the shopping mall Kaiserpassage, in the centre of Bonn (GER), and turns it into a place for art that creates a new space of experience even outside of opening times and familiar exhibition contexts in times of contact restrictions.

PASSAGE was initiated by SZALCprojects and DAS ESSZIMMER and will be expanded over time to include other local and regional cultural actors and institutions.

We start with: Schadenschnelldienst (2010), light installation by Gabriele Horndasch (Düsseldorf / GER) / Schnelltest (2021), site-specific video installation by Camenisch/Vetsch (Basel/CH) and paintings by Peter Kohl (AT) in cooperation with SZALCprojects, Bonn
