Riet van Gerven, curator at SEA Foundation Tilburg/NL leads the artist talk with Hillside Projects (Stockholm/SE) on the occasion of their solo show "Memorial for the Lost" at DAS ESSZIMMER.
Parallel to the exhibition at DAS ESSZIMMER, Hillside Projects are also present with the solo show THEY WHO WHERE at SEA Foundation.

Artist ( Description ): 

The Swedish artist duo (Emily Berry Mennerdahl & Jonas Böttern) have been working together as Hillside Projects since 2011. Their work revolves around the mostly problematic relationships between humans and nature. “Memorial for the Lost”, the exhibition project by the Hillside Projects is currently shown at das ESSZIMMER in Bonn, tells of grief, loss and the largest human-induced extinction of species in the history of the earth. Their solo show THEY WHO WERE is also currently present at SEA Foundation.
