Andy Warhol: Appropriations, Un-authorised prints & Fakes

Categories:

Warhol, appropriated photographs, paintings and his mother’s drawings, and calligraphy. In turn his own work has been appropriated by artists (Richard Pettibone etc) and Printers (Sunday B Morning etc). This exhibition shows both sides of this convoluted conundrum, showing examples and letting our audience judge whether the work is an Appropriation, an Unauthorised Print, or a Fake.
