Rostra Gallery celebrates Spring with an exhibition designed to embrace the outdoors and rejoice at this wonderful time of year! Includes a stunning collection of paintings, sculpture and lino prints.

Artists include Suzie Marsh who will be leading the exhibition with her stunning life-size elephant calves. Made from cold cast bronze resin Suzie has an amazing eye for detail and is inspired by the beauty and character in animals across the globe. Suzie also works with various animal charities with proceeds from sales funding many sanctuaries and foundations such the Zoological Society of London, Turgwe Hippo Sanctuary and the Animals Asia Foundation. New artists include Sam Knowles who creates striking linocuts that depict and celebrate animals either real or part imagined. His love of wildlife is the source of these beautiful prints and the focus lies entirely on them as he offsets the hand printed marks with the clean white space of the paper. Liz Saddington joins Rostra Gallery with her exquisitely painted watercolours that delve into the undergrowth of the countryside and highlight the rich colours of the land and Eddy Crick will be displaying his charming stained glass garden birds; these intricate works are perfect to brighten up any home or garden.

Whether it’s something for the garden or a treat for the home look no further than Art in Bloom. Join us on the Opening Day Saturday the 11th April as we toast to some exciting new artwork! Art in Bloom is on display until 11th May.
