Venue ( Address ):

Established in 1973, Bohun Gallery is one of the few remaining galleries, outside London, to specialise exclusively in contemporary British paintings and prints.  Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working directly with some of the most exciting and well-respected artists of our time including John Piper, Elisabeth Frink, Ivon Hitchens, Sandra Blow, Elizabeth Blackadder, Peter Blake and Mary Fedden.

Bohun Gallery represents some of Britain’s finest contemporary artists such as Maggi Hambling, Eric Rimmington, Victoria Crowe, David Remfry and Joyce Cairns.  We also champion the work of emerging new artists.

The gallery is active within the Contemporary and Modern British art scene and supports the work of several museums and arts charities.  In recent years it has been involved in loaning work for public exhibitions, collaborating on art lectures, fund raising activities and in the publication and launch of art books.  We have also handled several high profile commissions, on behalf of private clients, including a portrait of Stephen Hawking for the Royal Society.

Bohun Gallery holds a lively and varied exhibition programme with up to nine feature exhibitions every year, plus an annual show of sculpture in the garden.  It has a national reputation as one of the leading out-of-London galleries and has become known for its friendly, welcoming and personal service.
