Saturday, 9 September 2017 to Thursday, 5 October 2017
Opening:
Saturday, 9 September 2017 - 10:00am to 4:30pm

The Association of Animal Artists was founded 9 years ago in the UK by 9 artists with a common goal - to exhibit as a group of likeminded friends and associates that had animals as their chosen subject. Since then the association has gone from strength to strength as animal artists with a keen interest in nature and art come together twice a year to exhibit under one roof.

The association boasts professional, semi professional and hobby artists and exhibitions are not juried. It is unprecedented to find such an inclusive group exhibiting together, but our exhibitions are now renowned for their professionalism, and high standard of craftsmanship.

Subjects are diverse too! From fish to fowl, birds to reptiles, insects to exotic wildlife, there is always something to inspire, and admire.

Every year in order to support the very beasts that we seek to portray we donate a percentage of our proceeds from art sales to support our charity partner.

Our charity partner for 2017 is The Vincent Wildlife Trust.

Venue ( Address ):

350,000 visitors a year find there's a lot to offer at The Station.

With a contemporary café bar and restaurant, exhibition galleries and 3D art store, award-winning artisan food producers, three-screen cinema and meeting rooms, it is a hub for community activities and courses too, such as photography, singing, crafts and language lessons.

The Station is managed by the Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust. It's truly amazing what a little charity can do.

Why not come and see for yourself?
