CROSSROADS is a new art fair that showcases the best of contemporary art from around the world, and which provides the chance to experience the most current trends and works by established and emerging artists.
CROSSROADS is the natural convergence of two projects that share core values and principles. It expands on the concept of Pinta London, Europe’s only modern and contemporary art fair dedicated to exhibiting and promoting art from Latin America, Spain and Portugal, which firmly established itself as one of the key events in London’s cultural calendar. At the same time, it merges with the concept of ‘The Immigrants’, an independent project that began life in Venice in 2013.
CROSSROADS conveys an invitation to a journey, to imagine the future, the promise of an imaginary land, the opportunity to leave old frontiers and old habits behind. The name ‘CROSSOROADS’ encapsulates the concept of the avant-garde, ambition and drive, innovation, courage and creativity to overcome obstacles, adaptability, versatility and multiculturalism as the natural traits of today’s artists, curators, art dealers and collectors.Each stage of this project is presented as an ‘Experiment’, moved by the ambition and determination to search and build an alternative to already saturated spaces.

As a concept, CROSSROADS is simultaneously cultural, political and philosophical. Today’s world is global like never before and inherently migrant. The art world inevitably follows this pattern – not just the artist, critic or curator, who are all migrant by nature, but also the collectors and public. London, as the city par excellence where multiculturalism thrives and is valued, is the setting for CROSSROADS ART SHOW
