Portrait photography is created in a fraction of a second by at least two people, two different
personalities, a model and a photographer, in a moment of special affinity. Bo Lutoslawski will show
portraits of fascinating individuals who spent moments of their lives with him. He will explore the visual
possibilities around us in order to swiftly create images, which then remain with us for long periods of time.
Lutoslawski will also discuss the special qualities of light from diffused to direct and the interlocked relation of gestures with the most complex issue of exposure delay. By outlining his understanding of a composition, he will concentrate on the way we interact with each other during a photographic session.Photography has been Bo Lutoslawski’s passion since his childhood and from the early 70's his profession. Working in the theatre, opera, orchestra and ballet, his photographs have been published in magazines such as The Independent, The Guardian, Vogue, Newsweek, Harpers & Queen, and The Illustrated London News and used for posters and television programmes. He has lectured in film and photography throughout the United Kingdom and published several books in Polish. His work has been shown in exhibitions throughout Europe.
