Working with renowned choreographer Lea Anderson and supported by the Kensington + Chelsea Festival, the Chelsea Theatre is proud to present CHELSEA-DANCE-CAPTURE:21.
A project that collects and archives the dance and movement culture of the area after a year of pandemic. Lea has reached out across the community to ask dancers of all types to donate 3 minutes of dance, to be filmed, presented online and archived by Chelsea theatre and the Trinity Laban.
Filming of the donations will take place on 17-18 July, and 14-15 August at the Chelsea Theatre on a specially constructed outdoor stage opening on to Worlds End Place.
The public are invited to come along and watch the filming. There will be dancers of all ages from all cultures from k-Pop to Morris Dancing.
Suitable for all ages.
This is an outdoor event and does not require pre-booking.
