For the last Friday of the month we open our doors for an evening viewing of Jerwood Art Fund Makers Open. Join Mirren Kessling, Visual Arts Programme Manager, for a tour during your visit to gain insights into the works, processes, and ideas behind the exhibition.

About Jerwood Art Fund Makers Open

Jerwood Art Fund Makers Open returns for its eighth edition, showcasing new work by Anna

Berry, Cecilia Charlton, Jahday Ford, Vicky Higginson and Francisca Onumah & Helena Russell. Showcasing a broad range of material disciplines, including glass, textiles, digital modelling, silversmithing and sculptural installation, the five commissions provide a snapshot of some of the most exciting new work being produced by UK-based artists and makers.

Recognising and promoting the significance of making practice and process within contemporary visual arts, Jerwood Art Fund Makers Open gives exceptional artists and makers the opportunity to develop their creative ideas independently, enabling them to experiment, learn and take risks at a pivotal moment in their careers

This evening viewing of Jerwood Art Fund Makers Open is drop-in until 8pm, no booking required. Plan your visit, here.

The tour will last for approximately half an hour, there will be the chance to ask questions throughout. Capacity for the tour at 6.30pm is limited, book now.
