Workshop: making a mixtape for your best friend with Opashona Ghosh

In a quest to re-centre the complexity, tenderness, and love we feel for our closest friends both in our personal experiences and collectively within the dominant culture, artist and facilitator Opashona Ghosh invites you to join them in this embodiment workshop dedicated to platonic love.

In the session, we will reflect on the storytelling and emotional qualities of music as a way of spiritually connecting to our friends – whether near or far.

Through a soft ritual made up of orienting exercises, active listening, desire mapping, and gentle movement, we will move through memories, feelings, and songs to create a playlist that can be gifted to your best friend(s) as a loving appreciation of your journeys together.
