8-Year Anniversary Group Show

Vertical Gallery is very proud to present their 8-year anniversary exhibit with over 30 local, national and international artists with artistic styles that have shaped the gallery’s programming over the years. The exhibition runs April 3 – 24, 2021, with an opening day reception on Saturday, April 3rd, 11:00a-6:00pm.

The exhibition features: Ador (FR), Alex Face (TH), Ben Frost (AU), Blek le Rat (FR), Brad Novak (NZ), Collin van der Sluijs (NL), Copyright (UK), Chris Cunningham (UK), Chris Uphues (US), Eelus (UK), Eric Pause (CA), Expanded Eye (PT), Grant William Thye (US), Griffin Goodman (US), Hama Woods (NO), Hebru Brantley (US), Joseph Renda Jr. (US), Kayla Mahaffey (US), Langston Allston (US), Lefty Out There (US), Martin Whatson (NO), Matthew Small (UK), Mau Mau (UK), Melanie Tatangelo (FR), Pipsqueak Was Here!!! (NL), Pizza in the Rain (US), Sergio Farfan (US), Steve Seeley (US), Stikki Peaches (CA), 2MIL (MX), and Word to Mother (UK).

There will be a print release from Pizza in the Rain on opening day (April 3), a print release from Kayla Mahaffey April 14 (in-person only), and a book & print release from Hebru Brantley at the end of April (in-person only).

Since opening its doors at 1016 N. Western Avenue in 2013, Vertical Gallery has presented ambitious exhibitions with work influenced by street art, urban environments, graffiti, pop culture, graphic design and illustration. With 10 to 12 group and solo shows per year, plus participation in major international art fairs, they have featured over 300 different artists from around the world in their exhibitions.
