Rebecca Rippon: Good Omens

At the Pence Gallery, we will have a new collection of work along the stairwell by artist Rebecca Rippon. Her beautiful, vibrant silkscreen prints will be on display March 2 - April 16, 2021.

"Lately I have been thinking of the silkscreen almost as a way to 'paint'. All of the flowers and animals in this series are a reflection of my changed vantage point since the pandemic began. Either I have marveled through screens and books at the fact that they exist somewhere far away, or their presence in my own city has become more noticeable to me, now that activity is so greatly reduced. My own activity, and the city's too. I draw them all for my screen, not knowing how I will bring them together until later." - Rebecca Rippon
