Halloween, Thursday, October 31st

5:30 – 7:30 pm

On display: The Door Paintings and other works by Rossella BLUE Mocerino

Artist ( Description ):

Rossella BLUE Mocerino has created a cast of enigmatic characters who inhabit her colorful oil paintings. Her inspiration has been and continues to be the Venice Carnival. Never without a mask, always mysterious, forever dreaming, these figures are immensely human. She describes her work as figurative, not realistic. “Who wants to do reality?” she states. Exhibitions at the historic Luna Baglioni Hotel in Venice and more recently in many branches of the New York Public Library, have given this contemporary artist visibility and recognition.
