Agora Gallery, New York is pleased to announce The 33rd Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition featuring works by Hiromichi Matsudaira, Adeyemi Ramon Omolaja, Kristina Daukintyte Aas, Ayo Filade, Eileen Olimb, Samuel Wyatt, Meike Lohmann, Carlos Salazar, Herold P Alexis, Dana Edmonds, Emily Jones, Beth Cavalcanti, Jennifer Day, Yvonne Muinde, Sidney Chambers, Candelaria Palacios, Peter Genßler, Dong Kyu Kim, He Chunqing, Nemo Nox, BAUDRIER, Terence Finch, Ada Luisa Trillo, Cynthia Evers, Oluwatobi Adewumi, Kara Daviau, Gabrielle Kruger, and Chenyi Sun.

The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition is among the most established and prominent international art competitions and offers over $70,000 in prizes. The 2018 exhibition features painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and printmaking from a diverse group of artists at varying stages in their careers. Figurative, still life, and abstract works feature prominently in this year’s competition, which was juried by Kathy Battista, Program Director of the MA in Contemporary Art, Sotheby's Institute of Art, New York; Sharon Matt Atkins, Director of Curatorial Affairs, Brooklyn Museum, New York; and Amanda McDonald Crowley​, Independent Curator, Public Art Action.

The 33rd Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition opens August 14th with an opening reception Thursday, August 16th 6-8 PM and will remain on view until August 25th, 2018.
