J. Mane Gallery is proud to present its Landscapes online juried art exhibition.
Any landscape is the condition of the spirit.
For this competition, artists were encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of the landscape-natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests. The artwork varies from realism to surrealism to abstraction, and all media were accepted, including 3-D. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best inspired work. We received over 225 entries.
Each of our themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place. The First Place winner for the Landscapes show is Izzy Kapetanovic for his photograph, Morning Reflection. Izzy’s interpretation of the theme and his approach to the subject is what set his work apart. Izzy is also the Featured Artist for the duration of the show.
Taking Second Place is Kathleen H. Peters for her oil, A Cairn of Hope. Katheleen’s point of view and composition of the scene made this an outstanding piece. And, Third Place goes to Fabienne Soda-Dubkowski for her photograph, White Mountains Contemplations. The creativity with the medium as well as her interpretation of the theme is what set Fabienne’s work apart.
Honorable Mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Padma Aleti for her watercolor, Before The Rain Water, Lawrence Bridges for his photograph, Sunset Looking Towards Los Alamos, Leah Dockrill for her mixed media on canvas, Prospect Bay, Nova Scotia, Gerri Duke for her photograph, Mountain View, Michael J. Duke for his photograph, Southwest Sardinia Mountains, Keyran Hostetler, for Eohippus Utor, Elizabeth Kayl for photograph, Eventide, and Kristopher Schoenleber for his photograph, White Mountains.
