Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 8th Annual Figures & Faces International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography depicting the human form – both figures and faces. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The 8th Annual Figures & Faces Best in Show winners are Mehrnosh Kaecker for her oil on canvas, “BERND”, Maureen Ravnik for her photography & digital, “TAOS ARTIST” and Douglas Aja for his bronze sculpture, “JUNIOR ELDER”. Mehrnosh, Maureen and Doug are Fusion Art's Featured Artists for the month of October 2022 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art's Annual Group Show in Santa Fe, NM in 2024.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Ginny Morello, Cheryl L. Hrudka and Li Chenglu. Third Place awards were given to Michael Scherfen, Shelley Benjamin and Mary Ruden. Fourth Place awards were given to Javid Andalib, Brian Cann and Cara Lawson-Ball. Fifth Place awards were given to Laurie Cartwright, Nicholas Kozis and Sara Ussher.

In addition, twelve artistic excellence awards and twelve honorable mention awards were given due to the exceptional quality of the art received for this exhibition. The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Belgium, Taiwan, China, Qatar and the Czech Republic. Overall, the gallery judged 361 entries and accepted 127 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for two months.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure through the gallery’s extensive marketing and social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
