J. Mane Gallery is pleased to present its 2nd Annual Abstracts International Online Juried Art Exhibition.

Abstract art uses the visual language of shapes, form, color, and texture to create a composition that is independent from visual references in the world. It can mean anything in an artist's emotional life they want it to mean. It awakens our curiosity as viewers about the limits of our imagination.

We invited artists to submit work that best represents abstract art.  All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best art and photography.

Each of our themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place.  The First Place winner for the 2nd Annual Abstracts show is Brandi Foster for her photograph, Tree Of Life. Brandi’s excellent command of the medium, composition and unique interpretation of the theme is what set her work apart. Brandi is also the Featured Artist for the next four weeks.

Taking Second Place is Jeff Pullen for his oil, wood and plexiglass piece, Breathing Below Surface. Jeff’s use of color and shape draw the curiosity of the viewer. And, Third Place goes to Saliha Khanum for her painting, Seascape.  The calming colors and movement created by the technique with the medium create an abstract world.

Honorable Mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Shauna Chapman for her mixed media work, 11.58.10, Kelly M. Coffey for her digital photo, Chasing Light, Emma Coyle for her 3-D work, Linear Abstraction, Dustin Davis for his sculpture, Pathway, Michael J. Duke for his photograph, Messing With Desktop Tools, Riccardo Liotta for his acrylic painting, Linear Transformation, Carlos Lorenzana for his ink on paper, Shift, Eric Seplowitz for his photography, Leading Edge, James Tartaglione for his Untitled acrylic ink, Vasu Tolia for her mixed media painting, Aurora, and Tina Ybarra for her charcoal, Cyclins.
