CTRL+SHFT Collective is an exhibition space and twelve studios located in West Oakland. Comprised of a rotating group of female identifying and non-binary members, CTRL+SHFT strives to hold space for community engagement and a wide array of artistic practices. We consistently interrogate what it means to build and be a part of a community, and our ever growing CTRL+SHFT community includes women, WOC, queer, genderqueer, & non-binary writers, artists, thinkers, curators, allies, agitators, organizers, activists and teachers.

As an exhibition and organizing space, we focus on giving a platform (eg. a space, people, someone to listen, take action, witness, transparency, resources) to artists of color, women, queer and gender non-conforming artists.
