Call for Art: Independent Art Museum

My Art Contest and The Independent Art Museum (IAM) are pleased to announce an international call for art. Winners will be featured in the INDEPENDENT ART MUSEUM, a traveling art bus exhibit. This call for art is a great opportunity for each artist to exhibit his/her work in various art exhibits, have their art published and receive cash awards, and also to support a great new organization.

All participants in the IAM Art Contest & Exhibit will have their artwork displayed online at My Art Contest and in Artist Portfolio Magazine, which averages over 35,000 unique readers per issue. The top 3 artists will have the opportunity to display their original works of art on the bus while the remaining participants will have a print of their art displayed on the gallery walls. The IAM Art Bus will launch in early 2014. Participants from this call for art will have their work featured in the IAM Art Bus for the first 60 days, during which the IAM Art Bus will attend various art walks/events in the Greater Los Angeles Area. All art will have artists name and contact info.

ABOUT the INDEPENDENT ART MUSEUM:

The Independent Art Museum is to be a mobile art museum that brings art to a wide range of audiences by offering museum quality art exhibits that travel to art walks, art museums and special events. Additionally, the IAM Art Bus will offer art classes for disadvantaged children. 50% of the proceeds from this call for art and online art exhibition will go directly to the IAM Art Bus. All artists who enter the juried online art exhibit at http://myartcontest.com will be contributing towards the creation of the IAM Art Bus.

Best in Show - $500, 2 Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and Featured Artist on the IAM Art Bus.

2nd - $200, 2 Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and Featured Artist on the IAM Art Bus.

3rd - $100, 2 Page Feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine and Featured Artist on the IAM Art Bus.

20 Honorable Mentions - 1 Page feature in Artist Portfolio Magazine, plus 10x10 print of art on the IAM Art Bus.

All Participants - All artists who participate will have at least 1 work of art in Artist Portfolio Magazine and a 6x6 print of your art on the IAM Art Bus. All entries are posted on the MyArtContest.com online art exhibit and archived for increased visibility and online presence.

My Art Contest currently averages over 650 unique visitors per day and Artist Portfolio Magazine averages over 35,000 unique readers per issue. All artists are also featured on our blog, Artist Portfolio Magazine Wordpress.
