Artist:
Joe Woods is an artist from Pittsburgh, PA and now resides in Elizabeth, NJ. He is an Illustrator, Painter, Graphic Designer, Graphic Apparel Designer and Toy Maker.
Joe is a professional graphic designer for over 20 years and is a graphics teacher for autistic students.
His illustration and painting work can be described as abstract pop art with major influences from graffiti, cartoons, black women, and comics.
His work has been seen in galleries such as Akwaaba Gallery, in Newark, NJ and Bridge Art Gallery in Bayonne, NJ.
Joe also is an excellent graphic apparel designer, owning a small business called “BEAUTIFRO LLC”, which caters to the natural hair community. In recent years Joe has made his name in the designer collectable game, creating unique resin toys that were well received in the toy community.
