World Aglow: A Photo Exhibition by Abby Valiant

Abby Valiant has had a passion for photography from a young age, moving from film to digital over the years. She is a lover of coffee, endurance sports, connecting with others, and all manner of (mis)adventures. Her photography values authenticity and seeks to highlight the natural inner glow and essence of each subject. Her work is often compared to impressionist paintings and is said to evoke similar feelings. Given how social media has contributed toward the exploitation and harm of natural spaces in recent years, a major concern for Abby is also striving to operate in ways that are ethically responsible and that acknowledge any indigenous connections to the land. She believes in finding ways to make a positive difference in the world, however small, and in inspiring others to do the same. She has spent time in California and Boston and now resides in the Seattle area.
