Cosmic Light, an international online solo tempera painting exhibition by David Outhwaite opens on February 10, and will continue for two months until April 10, 2024.
David Outhwaite's art examines the beauty of Nature by contrasting water in its dynamic state with wood or rocks, albeit the drama of waterfalls, rushing rivers and icefields, or the meeting of oceans with coastal cliffs. There are elegant abstractions to be found wherever these forms encounter each other arcing water spray, curling currents and tree limbs against the more massive planes of rocky outcrop, gleaming riverbed or snow. It is in these natural details of line and form that he finds and presents his idea of true beauty best realized.
