Eclectic Organics, an international online solo painting exhibition by Libby A Mills, opens on February 13, 2023, and will continue through March 16, 2023.
Libby is a painter, illustrator, sculptor, and mixed media artist who lives and works in Virginia Beach. She has a natural ability to create what she envisions and the main subjects of her work are natural elements, water, trees, flowers, and animals. Libby believes that all of us are connected to the natural environment around us and it is important to her to express her bond with it through art.

Artist:
After a full career, I reached a point where I could focus all my attention on what I loved, art. I became a self-taught artist. I love using a vast variety of media to produce a creation. I am inspired by many influences; life experiences, nature, literature, and interacting with others.
I grew up doing art with my father and as a teen, once a month, I visited the museum, Munson Williams-Proctor Institute in Utica NY. The museum held the works by Thomas Cole, “The Voyage of Life.” I was in love with the incredible paintings these men did (my father and Thomas), the details in the places, the people, plants, and animals.
It sparked a lifelong dream to develop art and a passion for creating art in many forms. My deepest love came from doing drawings and paintings with my father. His creative mind is what truly stayed with me to develop my skills.
