Shireen Jamehdor Art Exhibit; an online international painting exhibition opens on December 15, 2023, and will continue for two months until February 15, 2024.
Shireen Jamehdor's attention to detail, observation of human nature, and celebration of feminine power are consistent themes in her art. She thinks that life is surreal and enjoys surrealism in her work as things are almost never what they appear to be. Shireen's work explores hidden agendas, messages and symbols similar to everything we experience in life. This is also what makes her work unique as her art means different things to different people while there are no right or wrong interpretations.

Artist:
Shireen is a Los Angeles-based artist and fashion designer. She was born in Houston, TX and lived in the Chicago Northwest suburbs for much of her childhood and young adulthood. Her love for drawing started at around 4 years old with her preferred medium being pencil drawing until her late twenties when she fell in love with oil painting. Her style can be characterized as surrealism with a focus on elements of nature, antiquity, and pop culture. Her most recent works feature a variety of textures and experimentation with mixed media, from pistachio shells to seashells combined with oil and acrylics.
