I am an archivist by trade, but during the pandemic, as I started sketching and drawing more frequently, I was gifted an easel and canvases to try my hand at a new medium. As I have always loved drawing portraits and photographing wildlife in my spare time, I began painting (mostly) from the images I have photographed, as well as pets and portraits. As such, I have been painting less than two years, but hope to continue to paint and improve.
