Et terra et mari - Oil painting by Ivar Kaasik - exhibited at art place berlin

Ivar Kaasik's painting is contemporary in its treatment of the concepts of art and nature. In its complexity and multi-facetted associations, interpretations and controversies his artistic work penetrates many areas of our life in a way that goes beyond the cliché. His paintings enchant and fascinate the observer with its colours and its boldly cropped views. They transport the beholder into a world of harmony with new perspectives and visions.

Ivar Kaasik, born 1965 in Kuressaare / Estonia, 1983 - 1992 he studied at Estonian Academy of Art, 1989/1990 he studied at the University of Art and Design Halle/Saale, 1992 he graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts / Diploma of Art, works have been exhibited internationally since 1988, since 1992 he works in Berlin and Kuressaare.
