Masaki Yada - "Painting as Language"

City:

Categories:

Date:
Wednesday, 23 September 2015 to Sunday, 11 October 2015
Opening:
Wednesday, 23 September 2015 - 5:30pm to 8:00pm

The inspiration for Masaki's recent work was derived from the language of painting, which was cultivated by the Old Masters, as their technical and intellectual richness has remained as a pedagogical reservoir. Beyond emulating their visual and spiritual accomplishments, Masaki relishes the challenge of reinterpreting their visual language and making it relevant to contemporary culture.
