London has always been known for its iconic buildings, but the city has recently witnessed an explosion of new architecture from the world’s most acclaimed architects.

This selection of photographs from the book New Architecture London published by Prestel, celebrates the most significant new projects built in London since the turn of the 21st century. The exhibition showcases many well known buildings, but also the less well known quirky designs, often easily missed in their busy surroundings.

Spanning the cultural, residential and public service sectors, projects include the new King’s Cross Station, Boiler Suit and the Stirling Prize winning Newport Street Gallery.

These images offer a fascinating look at the city’s rapidly changing skyline, brought together for the first time to present the enormous array of styles, materials, and cutting-edge technology that have been employed by today’s leading architects, demonstrating how one of the world’s oldest cities manages to feel eternally new and exciting.
