Steven Cabral: Seeking Balance

Seeking Balance offers a visual journey of introspection and reflection, exploring the quest for solitude and balance in a society where we are overworked and constantly connected to the internet and each other. While feeling overwhelmed, it is not uncommon to find yourself asking: when is it appropriate to disconnect, at what point is it acceptable to tune out? In this series, a sense of stillness and balance weaves throughout the different orientations of lines and colors; a quiet sanctuary for the mind in which the viewer can experience a momentary solitude while attempting to realign their own equilibrium.
