The Vera List Center Prize conference and exhibition begins with two consecutive celebrations. First, an opening reception in the gallery to launch a 3 week exhibition, followed by the prize ceremony.

The opening reception for Abounaddara. The Right to the Image introduces viewers to the first segment of programmed video installations surrounding the topic of "Subverting Images". To learn more about the exhibition, click here.

Following the exhibition opening, Abounaddara receives the Vera List Center Prize for Art and Politics, followed by a conversation between Charif Kiwan and Kenneth Roth. The prize object was created by Yoko Ono. This event is the first part of the related prize conference:Abounaddara. The Right to the Image.
