Urban Landscapes

J. Mane Gallery is pleased to present its Urban Landscape International Online Juried Art Exhibition for the month of September 2018. 

Landscapes in art are about capturing spaces within our world.  Sometimes vast.  Sometimes microscopic.  

For this competition artists were encouraged to share their artistic vision and interpretation of urban life and architecture. The artwork varied from realism to surrealism to abstraction. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their best inspired photography and digital media.

Each of our monthly themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place.  The First Place winner for the Urban Landscape show is Benjamin Erlandson for his photograph, Tallin 2.   As the First Place winner, Benjamin will also be our Featured Artist for the month of September.  

Taking Second Place is John Mazlish for his photograph, Time Square Madness.   And, Third Place goes to Izzy Kapetanovic for his photograph, Along The Curve.  

Eight Honorable Mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Kelly Coffey for her photo, Scaffold Views, Cyrille Dubreil for his photo, The Bow, Michael J. Duke for his photo Afula Market Israel, Adrian Flaherty for his oil painting, Blackfriars Station, Brandi Foster for her photo, Closed For Business, Gail Morrison-Hall for her mixed media on canvas, Orchard Street Memories, JJ Snow for her digital photograph, Cappucino And Time and Jeanne Wilkinson for her digital collage, Skyline Shadows.
