What changes about how artists capture light in the short daylight hours around Winter Solstice? Winter Illuminations follows variations from the height of day to depths of night through this magical time of year. Windham Fine Arts Gallery transforms into a sparkling display capturing the peak of talent: Each stroke, gesture, medium spotlighted leads to better understanding of creativity in the face of limited lumination. Bring some gloves and hot chocolate on outdoor walks (scheduled weather permitting, see web/social media) with the gallery artists to discuss what to look for in lighting and subjects this time of year.
