Join us at Gallery 16 on SATURDAY, MAY 11th @ 1PM for an ARTIST TALK and BOOK SIGNING with the artists of Epoch: Libby Black, Taravat Talepasand, and Josephine Taylor. Moderated by Maria Porges

The long-standing friendship between Libby Black, Taravat Talepasand, and Josephine Taylor, has woven its way through many spheres of life: love, home, motherhood, work, culture, community, history, politics. What began two years ago as a correspondence via email between the artists evolved into a greater dialogue about what it means to be an artist, a feminist, a teacher and a mother.

Much Love and Respect is the publication containing this exchange of emails and includes a foreword and afterword by noted artist and writer, Maria Porges. The artists and Maria will be in attendance on Saturday. Together they will discuss their work, the inspiration for the show, the book and so much more!

Copies of Much Love and Respect will be available for purchase at the gallery. While this is a free event, we ask that you kindly RSVP to reserve a space.
