The Opposite of Midnight: Defying Gravity; an international online solo digital arts exhibition by Kate Kelly opens on November 18, 2023, and will continue for two months until January 18, 2024.
From the caves in Spain, famous for its drawings and polychrome rock paintings of wild mammals and human hands, to the drip paintings by Jackson Pollock, to the graffiti artists who expressed themselves on brick walls and subway cars, there has always existed the tribe of artists who express themselves visually in countless ways using a myriad of available materials. As an artist, Kate Kelly has experimented in many of all the available media to express her love for the visual image.

Kelly has been fortunate to have exhibited in many art exhibits, both group and solo, involved in organizing multi-media events (Sundays @ 7), was a member of the Bare Bones acting group, “performed” her poetry in many venues, was one of the founders of the Northport Arts Coalition and served as their first co-chair. She has served as a curator shows for the Art League of Long Island and the Northport Arts Coalition.
