NEW STUDIO is pleased to present a solo show of new work by Athens-based artist Eleni Bagaki.

Eleni Bagaki (b. 1979, Crete) studied MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London, and BA Jewellery Design at Middlesex University, London. Recent solo exhibitions include: Crack, Crack, Pop, Pop....Oh What a Relief It Is!, Radio Athenes, Athens (2015); My crap is BIGGER than yours!, Remap4, Athens (2013) and Sex, Birds and Rocks, Lust offices, Athens (2012). Selected group exhibitions: Areopagus Königin, Parallel Vienna, Vienna (2015); The Office, POP Montreal, Montreal (2015); I thought you were the real thing, Romantzo, Athens (2014); You Are Here, Kingsgate Gallery, London (2014); I Meet Together, I Agree, VITRINE gallery, London (2014); LUSTLANDS, Family Business, New York (2013). She lives and works in Athens, Greece.

Eleni was selected from over 700 artist applications to NEW STUDIO’s open call in March 2015, along with Sophie Mackfall and Wendy Plovmand.
