For this exhibition, Tim Benson VPROI, collaborated with the sight charity Orbis, creating painted portraits that tell the stories of Zambians under-going sight-saving surgery.

Tim Benson, Vice President of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, is committed to using his painting to tell the stories of people throughout the world who don’t have a voice.

Orbis works with many of the leading ophthalmic surgeons in the world to deliver surgery to children and adults who have lost their vision to these conditions. This vital surgery rebuilds lives.

I am committed to working with charities and NGOs to tell the stories of people throughout the world who don’t have a voice.

Painted portraits speak to people in a way that the written word and photography cannot. My exhibitions engage people with important global challenges and build awareness through painting.
