Projekt722 is pleased to present Content Intent Replay curated by Eun Young Choi. The exhibition includes works by Ivin Ballen, Sun You, Jennifer Grimyser, and Jena H. Kim. The works on view share a crisp clean colorful aesthetic that investigates the act of looking and perceiving through spacial arrangements that are overlaid with humor and vague emotional narratives.

The artists use fairly humdrum objects, subject mater and even scraps to explore, manipulate and compose supernatural/natural interventions. In the process, the artists redefine symbolic meanings often associated with the material being used as well as push the dimensional boundaries of painting, sculpture and photography. These intentional edits can be seen as a reference to an act of looking back at what one might have experienced, to dissect and understand the different elements that compose our memory of that experience, and to create a sort of intentional synesthesia.
