Artist ( Description ):

"I seek to express the inner world we all experience. With an ability to create works that 'speak' to the viewer, I create a variety of images. My MFA in Printmaking from the University of Oregon led to a deep understanding and love of the processes involved in making originals and multiples. Now the processes I use include mixed media. I mine the depths of the infinite variety of media available, including oil, acrylic, acrylic gouache, colored pencil, pastels, watercolor, canvas, paper, hardboard, ephemera, beads, modeling paste, gold leaf, and more in discovering new ways to communicate my love of people, landscape, and animals. My work is in national and international collections, private, public and corporate. I live in Vancouver with my husband and a small but feisty rat terrier, Lucy, and 3 aquariums." Denise
