To Be Continued, an international online solo art exhibition by Tammy Knipp opens on February 15, and will continue for two months until April 15, 2024.
Tammy Knipp's “To Be Continued”, refers to the display of transformation and decay in this immersive collection of found and repurposed objects. Here, we witness natural processes of organic decomposition and decay, such as in the rawhide slabs; degradation without apparent decay, as with the arbitrary pieces of ratty plastic; and the aesthetic logic revealed in bubbling processes of transformation and decomposition. There is an anthropological aspect that is beyond willful interference and despoilment: humans are ontologically fascinated and repelled by decomposition and decay. The work is basically an imaginative rendering of this process.
