Welcoming Alice Linford Forte, with her first Featured Artist exhibition at the gallery. Her atmospheric abstract paintings exuding tranquility and optimism, and drawing inspiration largely from the landscape and her passion for travelling.

Artist ( Description ):

Born In England, raised in Australia, and in constant motion between her 2 homes, Alice soaks in the beauty of the world with artistic observance.  Then translates  it onto canvas.

She excelled in art all through her schooling, yet she chose to respond to her itchy feet instead of continuing her study at university.  Shortly after finishing high school in Margaret River she took off, and since has lived in England, Morocco, all corners of Australia, and has traveled extensively through Europe and Asia. She is currently living and painting out of Lombok, Indonesia.

It is her traveling that inspires her.  She eagerly photographs her experiences, then transfers pixels into paint.

Self taught and in her mid 20s,  Alice has received credible recognition and support for her work. Crowded exhibition openings and high sales are testament to her burgeoning career as a painter.  She is able to beautifully recreate the places and people that have touched our hearts, delivering works of serenity and reflection in a whirl of colour.
